Charles River Esplanade-Also referred to simply as "The Esplanade," the Charles River Esplanade is a city park that stretches along the waterfront on the Charles River.
The Esplanade is also the best access point for boating on the river where often times you'll see rowboats or sailboats depending on the weather and time of year. The Esplanade backs up adjacent to the Back Bay neighborhood, and also provides a lot of open space for walkers and joggers, as well as other people out to enjoy the spoils of the riverfront.
